November came and went while I traveled to Atlanta, Florida and New York.

Nothing is as important as family and health, but here are other things I’m grateful for this Thanksgiving time of year:

* My grandson did, indeed, get a wonderful kindergarten teacher.

* I spoke at a new, fantastic conference outside of Atlanta that Lola Schaefer created with a little help from friends. We met so many enthusiastic new writers and teachers.

*I was able to see The Radio City Christmas Spectacular Celebrating 75 Years, featuring the Rockettes in New York City at Radio City Music Hall; an early Christmas present from my big-hearted friend Lee Bennett Hopkins.
